Are you an experienced Estimator ready to take the next step? Do you want a role where your expertise is valued, your career is supported, and your progression to management level is part of the plan?

We’re looking for a talented Estimator with 5+ years’ experience in fire suppression, fire protection, or M&E estimating to join our growing Fire Suppression Company. Residential sector experience is preferred, but for the right candidate, we will provide training to transition skills from a commercial sector background. This is your chance to be part of a fast-growing business where your role makes a real impact.

Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate tenders, quotations, and cost estimates for fire suppression projects.
  • Review specifications, drawings, and schedules to prepare detailed proposals.
  • Use AutoCAD or Revit to support design and estimation.
  • Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to deliver competitive estimates on time.
  • Identify value-engineering opportunities to improve efficiency and competitiveness.
  • Support the growth of the estimating function with a view to stepping into leadership.
About The Fire Suppression Company
Key
requirements
  • Minimum 5 years’ estimating experience in fire suppression, fire protection, or M&E.
  • Residential experience preferred – commercial can be trained for the right candidate.
  • Strong technical knowledge of fire suppression systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of BS 9251 and BS EN 12845 highly desirable.
  • Must have AutoCAD or Revit experience.
  • Commercial awareness, excellent organisation, and strong attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with negotiation skills.
  • Ambition – someone who wants to progress into management and help shape the company’s future.

38 Hours Per Week (Monday – Friday)
Salary: £40,000.00 – £70,000.00 per year
